Programs Offered by STFA – United SC

The Club uses tryouts to create the best opportunities for player development and provide a suitable, competitive environment. At the conclusion of tryouts, we hope to have achieve the following:

  • To create a premier level travel team at each age group.

  • To create limited travel teams for specific age groups or combined age groups that will compete in local events/activities.

At the conclusion of tryouts, players will be invited to one of the following programs subject to their age and to the team invited to.

360 – Our 360 Program is a year-round program available to players of birth years 2011 to 2015 (U8 to U12). This program is designed to provide consistent and balanced player development. Throughout the year players will be active with futsal, soccer, agility, and fitness training. Players will be exposed to a variety of opportunities with fall and spring soccer and winter futsal and fitness training. Activities include training sessions, league/friendly matches, and up to three tournaments.

For ages 2015 – 2013 (U8-U10) the annual cost is $1,295. Program fees can be paid in full or in installments of $250 at registration and $95 per month (11 installments).

For ages 2012 – 2011 (U11-U12) the annual cost is $1,695. Program fees can be paid in full or in installments of $250 at registration and $125 per month (11 installments).

270 – Our 270 Program is a 7-to-8-month program available to players of birth years 2008 to 2010 (U13 to U15). This program is designed to dovetail with school soccer and to “super charge” our club teams for spring soccer. After the school season our teams will begin training for 4 – 8 sessions and look to play several competitive matches. In November, these teams will move to futsal and focus on skill development and fitness. In February or March teams will return to outdoor activities. This is the general timeline; however, if any of these teams participate in the Kentucky Premier League (KPL) or the Great Lakes Conference (USYS League), then players should expect a higher level of activity.

The annual cost is $1,175. Program fees can be paid in full or in installments of $175 at registration and $125 per month (8 installments). **PLEASE NOTE** - If your team participates in the KPL or Great Lakes Conference, program fees will be higher due to higher costs with league fees, referee fees and coaches' travel. Likewise, participation in “blue chip” tournaments can also result in a higher program fee.

United Select – Our United Select Program is the Club’s standard program for U16 through U18 teams and Limited Travel Teams of ages U13-U15. In general, these teams will begin outdoor practices in February or March. The standard activities will be (1) 8 to 10 league (Indiana Select League or ISL) or friendly matches, (2) two to three tournaments (one being United’s Spring Cup) and up to 2 training sessions per week. We anticipate the season running from March through May.

The cost of the United Select Program is $750. Program fees can be paid in full or in installments of $250 at registration and two installments of $250 in March and April. **PLEASE NOTE** - If your team participates in the KPL or Great Lakes Conference, program fees will be higher due to higher costs with league fees, referee fees and coaches' travel. Likewise, participation in “blue chip” tournaments can also result in a higher program fee.
